Parliament today

So preparing to spend the whole day in the Houses of Parliament. Adrian Sudbury a 26 year old journalist has captured the mood and has the potential to change the face of Britain with regard to bon marrow donation. This could be our moment of greatness.

We need to be able to take the country by storn and recruit recruit recruit. Will we stand up to the scrutiny? Will we be fit for purpose? Only time will tell.

In 1986 we managed to add 100k people to the bone marrow register, but could we repeat that 12 years later? Do we have the infrastructure to cope? Only time will tell.

Not known for our flight of footness - if the opportunity arises could we become great?

Hopefully Adrian will continue his fight a bit longer and enable us to catch up with the train that is already running.

Could this be the moment to be seized and acted upon?

Let you know how it goes.

So meeting and greeting MPs, Peers and staff today. Let's hope for a great turnout and some people of gravitas and instant public recognition. Wore my best wool suit and pink shirt - thought it would work well on the TV - although is a bit hot!
