What an amazing day this has turned out to be. Information session and clinic was both surreal and exciting. Change to meet with Secretaries of State and Ministers was a great opportunity. Also got to meet David Blunkett (and his dog Sadie). All was pretty strange - great to be associated with a Charity that people actually want to hear about.
Missed lunch but got to meet some great people as well as passing through security driving in to Parliament - something that feels pretty important!
I hope this might be the start of something great for the charity. Got me thinking though - I'd love to be an MP, really appeals, but who would have me? Perhaps I could convince the party to give me a chance. Still for now I'll get my kicks from seeing others who I know so well from media and tv.
Biggest thrill - saw Tony Benn as we left the House - big respect!
